Why spend time and money on separate concept sketches and product design?

Usually a concept sketches will be created using graphic design software by designers that have little engineering knowledge. These 'pretty pictures' often then bear little resemblance to the finished product after the practicalities of manufacture are taken into account. 

Sure, these images do serve a purpose in that they can be shown to the customer, sponsor, investor, distributor or whoever at an early stage but will they be a little disappointed when the final product design looks different than the concept sketches?

Why not create concept designs directly into a CAD model? This way manufacturability, practicality and fits between components can be checked at an early stage. 'Pretty pictures' can be produced using our rendering software,  rapid prototypes can be made from the computer models. we can also prepare presentations if required - all with large savings on time and money. 

But how do I convey my ideas to you? - In much the same way that you would do to a graphic designer. We can add as much or as little of our own ideas as you require. Imagination, style, flair to match the best 'sketchers' but with rock solid practicality thrown in.

Once the concept models are approved then any modifications can be quickly actioned and the data rapidly brought to a production standard. Drawings and data for manufacture then readily available.
