All drawings can be output in a wide variety of different formats including PDF. DXF, DWG, Iges and many others.

Drawings direct from the computer models

Although we can work purely on 2D drawings, our prefered method of drafting is from a 3D model . This has several advantages including:

Accuracy: The views and sections are of the actual model so are visually correct.

Automatic update: The views and sections are automatically updated to match any model changes thus saving time. 

More choice of views: Shaded, Hidden line, Isometric and 3D views are all instantly available to add to the drawing.

Once the model is created drawing views, sections, enlarged views and cutaway views can be created automatically from the model , ensuring that what you see is visually correct and not the draftmans best guess.  This can save an enormous amount of time at the drawing stage - more than compensating for the time spent creating the model.
